COVID-19 Mask Policy Update
Our President and Owner, Scott Carr, shared the following information with our employees as a follow-up to the May announcement from the NC Governor lifting mask mandates and social distancing.
Since the NC Governor followed CDC guidelines and lifted masks mandates on May 13th, we have been closely following the number of positive COVID-19 cases across the state as well as across our facility network. Over a month later, we are happy to report that cases continue to stay at record lows in both areas.
HR has also been successfully collecting COVID-19 vaccination cards to help us get an idea of our vaccinated workforce and better understand how we can maintain a safe working environment for both vaccinated and unvaccinated employees.
If these trends continue in the right direction, we are prepared to update our mask use policy on July 1st, 2021 to allow for fully vaccinated employees to not wear masks while working (unless otherwise required by a client). Unvaccinated employees must still adhere to our COVID-19 protocols, including wearing a mask while working.
All visitors and temporary workers will be asked to continue to follow COVID-19 protocols unless they voluntarily provide HR with vaccination information.
