COVID-19 Protocols Update
Our President and Owner, Scott Carr, shared the following information with our employees in regards to the announcement last week from the NC Governor on lifting mask mandates and social distancing.
NC Governor Roy Cooper has announced that he is following advice from the CDC and lifting mask mandates, social distancing and capacity limits effective immediately. This is due to the increasing number of COVID-19 vaccinations across our state and around the country.
Although we are excited to hear about this announcement, we are not yet ready to make any decisions in regards to our COVID-19 protocols. Employee safety continues to be a top priority and we need to make sure our operations are safe for everyone. As an essential services provider, our services provide a recognized need for others and we can’t risk any disruptions.
Please continue to adhere to the following COVID-19 protocols…
- Temperature screenings upon entrance into facilities
- Mandatory face masks and gloves (where necessary) on the warehouse floor
- Regular washing/sanitizing of hands
- Frequent cleaning of workstations and any shared equipment
- Maintain social distancing (six feet of distance)
Over the next few weeks, the COVID-19 Taskforce will further review the new guidance from the NC Governor and the CDC and make decisions about next steps for Bonded and our employees. Until then, we appreciate your patience as we work our way out of this pandemic.
